Just returned from a trip to Florida to check on a high school friend with cancer and a weak ticker. Ah, the golden years! Anyway, the good news is that he is doing fine and the prognosis is excellent. While in Fernandina my friend and I went to a huge used book store where I found a reader's copy of "The Way Beyond" (Little Brown, 1st edition) for $15.00. Already having a copy, I was wondering if someone on this side of the pond would like it. (I would offer it to the other side but surface mail no longer exists!) No, I don't want to sell it-- just give it to someone like Bill Forland who needs to get his nose off the baker's window. There isn't room for two.
