I'm happy to report that Pat and I held the first JFAS support group meeting in Columbus, Ohio last evening. Pat was most kind to plan their return trip northward through my neck of the woods and we had an enjoyable first meeting and dinner at the local rib joint:

Pat's photo to follow. I second Yuletide's remarks on the new book. It looks great and Pat's painstaking layout is reflected in the quality. He, in turn, took a look at some JF items I'd brought along and may have discoverd one photocopy of an item about JF he'd not seen before. He'll let us know if that turns out to be the case. It was fun for me to discover too that we both have Golden Retrievers! All in all a good visit and I look forward to Pat's posting when he's home and settled in.
