Hi Sam - yes, Gillian was a pretty chunky kid - I have photos of her at around 10 years of age, and even then she looked, as they say in the U.S., as if she could go 'bear-huntin' with a switch'. The only photo I have of her in later years is a rather fuzzy, unflattering one that Hughson Hawley III sent me (Blanche Farnol's nephew). There appear to be none of her through her teens, and now Lawrence Oakeshott has gone, there's nobody we can ask about her.
