What a marvellous idea, Stuart - and how gracious of you to offer. It will be such a pleasure to meet you all again, after the intervening five years, during which I have attempted to age with dignity, albeit without much success. I've got a few things I could show you, although no repeat of the original ms that I brought to the first meeting, but I hope of interest nevertheless.
And it also means that I will have an even larger captive audience to show off my latest book, based on letters written by my father to his during WW1 - my only excuse being that it was, after all, my father's purchase of TAG in 1925 that led me eventually to Jeffery Farnol and to all you lovely folk.
It's just a brief visit, I'm afraid, arriving at Stuart's on the Monday and leaving on the Friday, so I will leave it to you three to decide between Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. I was talking to Ol' Yuletide last night, who is just in the final stages of sending his magnum opus (on American authors, but we can forgive him for that!) to the publishers. He tells me it is close to 600 pages of Medium Quarto (or US Imperial Octavo) size! (8 1/2 by 11). I know he'd love to be with us.
