My Dear Sam - so sorry to hear of your family's all-too-sudden loss, but glad that our friend can halep in some small way to ease the pain.
May I suggest that you take over "Murder By Nail"? The title doesn't sound at all promising (and JF himself thought that his US publisher's suggestion of "Valley of Night" was far better), but it really is a most enjoyable tale, written during the very darkest days of the War, when Phyllis and Jane had been evacuated to Portscatho, and Jeffery was alone in Eastbourne during the Blitz.

Please accept my sympathy for you and your brother and family.

Pat
